THE SUN WILL COME OUT TOMORROW
FOR TOMORROW IS ANOTHER DAY
FIDDLE DEE DEE
March 29 2020
Sitting in my house
nothing stirring, not even a mouse
Restaurants only take out
Wait until the rats find out
Who was that masked man
Delivering in a bright red van
Groceries in paper bags
Wiped clean with alcohol rags
Two trillion ready from America's Stash
Trying to prevent a stock market crash
How long will this terror last
How did it cripple us so fast?
Communist China brought forward our fate
Making us a bioterrorist state by mistake?
Comey and Clapper and Page and McCabe
With Hillary and Steele began the charade
To cut off the President right at the knees
Biden and Bernie tried to seize
The nation by teasing with Free
School, health care, and liberty
France sent the statue a drift in NYC
Give me your tired from across the sea
and your poor huddled masses yearning to breath free.
Bring them to me
The wretched refuse of your shore
Toss the homeless tempest through my golden door
But when did she invite MS13
And drugs, and strangers not knowing past routines?
Those inspired had to file in
Through the doors of Ellis Island
In those old times the huddled Masses
Were interviewed, probed, prodded both lads and lasses
As I write tonight America is in the fight for its life
Economically medically, emotionally every husband and wife
Wonders if the sun will come up tomorrow
Or leave us in darkness, misery, and sorrow
anxiety attacks and nervous breakdowns
Turned many smiles into frowns
Fear, isolation, and Trepidation
has taken the steam out of inspiration
But I will think about that tomorrow.
Tomorrow is another day
For I am hoping the seeds we sewed
Will bring an army on the way
Trying to get inside Trumps head- Thanks Casey and Lynn

MARCH 28 at 6:13 PM
Truth or Dare? BeWare
War comes ashore
All alone at home
Corona in the ice box
And knocking at my door locks
Like the London Blitz
No one knew from where or which
Who was friend or foe
Whether to stay or go
The enemy struck in the dark
Silent, deadly, leaving its mark
Business folding, Beaches closing
Is it time to load the Arc?
Groceries in paper bags
Amazon boxes red flags
Newsweek reports 2 to 3 days
On plastic viruses will lay
On paper, it stays 24 hours
Wash your hands and take a shower
A sneeze in the breeze lasts for hour three
Forbes and other publications agree
These reports are all certified
Not from some basement skivvy clad guy
I will be knocking out other philosophical views
For, really, at 70 I have nothing else to do.

IS THIS THE END?
A friend asked and I was tasked
To look into the end of times?
How long will it last slow or fast?
He fears he was seeing the signs
I pondered the state Of bibles and fate
And investigated as was my vocation
As I researched the testaments of Daniel late
And into the night Ezekiel and Revelations.
God was mad that society had
Turned to idols and abominations
So he would send judgments to defend
Against all cities towns and nations
Just then I heard a terrible sound
Coming from the heavens
When I looked around I found
flashes of pale, red, black white and seven
Wait a minute evil sets of twins
We are waking up humanity
To walk the bridge loaded down with our sins
To meet heaven halfway and stop all the insanity
So to Death, Disease, and War if you please
Take your Beasts and go straight down to Hell
If enough people heed the need to seed
A humanity that destroys hate where humanity fell
There will be nothing to feed your fiery steeds
And we will be sounding the final bell

TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALLGAME?  HARRY CARAY FROM THE GREAT BEYOND
MARCH 22 2020  I remember it well. The smell of the popcorn, Fenway Franks, The white lines running out to Pesky's Pole separating Fair from Foul. Wait till next year till 2004. Meeting Jimmy Rice and his dad in 75 then being with Jimmy, his dad, and my dad at Baltimore Stadium and appearing on the NBC Game of the Week. Driving Luis Tiant to the stadium. Being given Press Pass by the Red Sox. Being with Kyle on the outfield where Red Williams caught flies. Those were the Days.…
