Poem ME 1950’s to 2020’
No Red Sox. No owners Box.
No Courier Job. No Car.
No Home I own.
As I drink a beer I ask myself
how did I get here?
An unknown disease
Isolates me
And the rest of the world
Just waits and sees
So i began a poem
to express where I been
and where I’m goin.
Six parts done, more to come,
my story isn’t for everyone.
CHAPTER 1 ME, FAMILY, SUSAN THREE & NANCY
ME WITH MOM AND DAD ON SUSAN 111
I was born and raised
in the cold and snow
New England based
Fighting friend and foe
Summers Spent
on the Long Island Sound
with salt and spray
sitting on her bow
Red Sox blue
Frustrated by the Yanks
Waiting for Williams to come through
waiting for Yanks to walk the plank
In 55
Nancy arrived
My little sister
to tease and pester
