DFAP TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE ALERT
Section 22007 of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), signed into law by President Biden in August 2022, directs USDA to provide financial assistance to producers who have experienced discrimination in USDA's farm lending programs. This program allows USDA to provide financial aid to farmers, ranchers, or forest landowners determined to have experienced discrimination in USDA's farm lending programs before January 1, 2021.



Fill out DFAP Intake Questions to set appointment

Hours of Operation
9 AM EST til 6 PM EST
- Applicant Intake questions
- Answer basic DFAP questions
- Assist with setting in-person technical assistance appointments in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Texas.

Typically takes 24-48 hours to respond.

Submit your contact information and aa member of the FSC/LAF DFAP team will be in touch.
The Federation is holding weekly Discrimination Financial Assistance Program (DFAP) Information sessions through October to assist producers with navigating the application process.

Our dedicated technical assistance team stands ready to assist any farmer requesting technical assistance in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Texas.
The financial assistance application submitted by farmers must be appropriately filled out and tell the story of the discrimination experienced.
