MY THEORY ON LIFE
GOD, ME, and YOU
My various associations with metaphysics, religion, and academics has led me to this theory. In particular the choosing of Rabbi Capers Funnye to become Chief Rabbi of
Whether you are
Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, Agnostic, Atheist, or
profess a belief in any framework for life I think God had and still
has a framework of Good for humanity but gives us the Free Will to
step outside that framework to experience Evil. Makes no difference
what your perspective of God is or even if you believe in God. I
equate God with Goodness. This posting simply reflects my Jewish
perspective on Humanity.
I see the Star of
David, from my Jewish perspective, reflecting God's view of humanity,
his framework so to speak, of the way he/ sees humanity. There are
two triangles, one inverted, projecting an image of six points
pointing in six directions. Each triangle has a single point the
expands in two directions with a wide base. All that lies within this
framework to me represents all that is Good. The area known as the
Garden of Eden.
Each of the two
triangles has this single point, God or Goodness, expanding into
humanity ending in a base encompassing all humanity. In addition to
the two points of God/Goodness there are four other points on the
Star. Therefore every angle geometrically available has God or
Goodness emanating from every direction. Kinda like God, the Father,
representing Goodness in relation to humanity as children.
Also of note one
Triangle has this point at the top with the inverted Triangle giving
this point, or beginning on the bottom. Therefore, perhaps, all
things have God or Goodness on both the top and the bottom, beginning
and ending with God. God, or goodness, emanates both upward and
downward.
Free will allows
humanity to experience the good with the bad. To learn from mistakes,
and enable humanity to be in a position to achieve greatness, or
goodness, with full knowledge of evil. The area outside the Star of
David is all things evil. Greed, lust, the quest for power all exists
outside. Faith, or reason emanates from this concept of Good.
Abraham, Moses, David, Jesus, Mohammed, Buddha, and the heroes of the
Gita understood this. They recognized Good and saw it as emanating
from a Supreme Being. This allowed them to bring the truth beyond
Kings, Priests, and other Humans to something over these man made
controls and go deep within themselves to find Absolute Truth and
Good beyond the rulers. They prayed from and to something within and
then acted on what the response was.
Perhaps Ezekiel s vision of God in the
Chariot bears out this six pointed Star of David theory. What if the
stormy wind and great cloud, with fire flashing up containing the
likenesses of the four living creatures with human faces, each one
with four faces ( lion, ox, and eagle) Perhaps the four living
creatures, their offspring, and the wheels reflect the various
faiths? God is driving the Chariot, therefore driving the faiths?
Could God's message to everyone have been that there is one humanity
but different, diverse perspectives of God, but all under God's
control?
Is not Rabbi Capers Funnye a reflection on
this idea?
